Arjen Robben Football Videos
Arjen Robben (born 23 January 1984) is a Dutch winger playing for German side Bayern Munich. Robben is present in top European football for a long time now and he has appeared at the six big tournaments with Netherlands - EURO 2004, 2008 and 2012 as well as the 2006, 2010 and 2014 World Cups.
He moved to Chelsea from PSV in summer of 2004, where he became an integral part of Chelsea attacking midfield and won two Premier League titles, before moving on to Real Madrid in 2007, in a deal of estimated €35 million.
In Real Madrid, he soon took a key role, having pushed Drenthe to bench. Real Madrid were a dominant force in Spain and won the 2007/08 La Liga with games to spare. The following season, Robben kept his form making 35 appearances and scoring eight goals but his place in the starting XI came in danger with Real Madrid signing Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaká.
In August 2009, Robben was sold to Bayern Munich for €25 million, where he made an immediate impact. Although his first season went even better than expected as he was named Footballer of the Year in Germany, he was tormented by injuries in 2010/11, becoming a substitution for Muller on the right wing. He returned to the first team action in 2011/12 which had major success but had three major cup finals lost in two years (World Cup final with Netherlands, and two Champions League finals with Bayern).
However, in 2012/13, Robben was an integral part of Bayern's team that won the Treble, winning the Bundesliga, the UEFA Champions League and the DFB-Pokal, continuing their domination in Germany with Guardiola in 2013/14 also reaching Champions League semi-finals and winning Club World Cup.
