Welcome to FootballTube

FootballTube is an independent video community, run by passionate Swedish football fans, where you can watch and upload Football videos.

To upload a video you have to register/log-in. Once you’re registered you will have access to your own page (MyAdmin) where you can upload your videos, see all your uploaded films and activate/deactivate them, add personal info, favorite club etc.
When you upload a video you have to fill in certain fields: Title, Category and Language. You will also have to confirm that you hold all the rights for the video you’re uploading. FootballTube will screen all videos before publishing them.

You also have to register to rate, comment and share videos.

Add video content

You have two different ways to add video content.
- You can upload a file recorded by any recording device.
For file formats see below.
- You can make a live stream using your mobile phone, web cam or
camcorder. The live stream will automatically be saved as a video file
on FootballTube for anyone to see on demand.
For more info about Live streaming see below.

Live streaming

You can stream live on your personal page here on FootballTube.
To make a live stream you have to register for a Bambuser account on your MYAdmin page.
When you have downloaded the software to your mobile phone and/or computer,
you're ready to go...
If you wanna go live with your web cam to discuss the latest game or make a preview for an upcoming, you just press the button "Go live with your cam" and you're LIVE on FootballTube.
If you wanna make a live stream with your mobile device, you just klick on the Bambuser icon in your phone and you're LIVE on FootballTube.

Upload Your Football Videos

To upload a video you need to register. Think of a good title and description. This will help others to find your video by searching.
  • Each video must be no more than 100MB
  • Maximum length is 60 min.
Uploads usually takes 1-5 min./10MB, depending on connection. To see the file size of your video:
  • Windows: right-click on the file and select "Properties"
  • Unix: type "ls -lh videoname" in the directory where the video is stored.
File type is the filename extension of your video file. In other words, if your video file is named "footballmovie.wmv", "wmv" is the file type. FootballTube accepts the following video files:
  • avi
  • wmv
  • mov
  • 3gp
  • divx
  • rm
  • mp4
  • mpg
  • mpeg
Go on and upload, we’re curious!
